July 01-02: Sheep ShearingWe are very late this year to shear our sheep so we thought wed let our visitors see how it is done. On these dates, anyone visiting the farm or coming for lunch can see how the sheep are shorn and their nails are trimmed. July 08-09: THE BIG PICNICTo launch our new experience, picnic with the donkeys, we are having a big picnic this weekend! The donkeys will carry your picnic and you will lead them to a beautiful location, where you can relax and enjoy your picnic. Bookings are limited to groups of 4 people or more and can be made via the link. There are no additional costs for this experience and please note that grilled meat is not be available on the picnic.

July 15-16: English StorytellingAs an English speaking farm we love to bring both the experience of the farm and the benefit of learning English to children and adults alike. On this weekend we will have a guest storyteller who will read a number of fairytales and stories in English for the kids to listen to. July 30: Meet the OwlsAt the farm we also host Majanocte who specialise in owls. Majanocte offer several experiences including educational talks about owls and other birds. This weekend you will have the benefit of meeting the owls and to learn about these beautiful birds and why they are often misunderstood. To book please use the link. August 06: Felting WorkshopWe are delighted to be hosting a felt workshop at the farm on this Sunday. Participants for the workshop (Suitable for kids from 6 years and also for adults) will have the opportunity to learn how to make felt and to get hands on to create a piece of felt to take home. The workshop is at 10:30 - 12:30 or 14:30 - 16:30 with a maximum of 15 people per session. To book please use the link. August 12-13: Fantasy CraftsWe are joined this weekend by Penny a familiar face at the farm who is often with us for events to support the activities and crafts for the kids. On this weekend she will be running a wonderful workshop to build Fairy Doors and create a dragon! She will also take the children on a walk along the gnome trail and tell a wonderful tale of Silvanus the forest dragon! To book please use the link. August 15: FerragostoOur Summer Fair-Agosto is one of the biggest days of the year at the farm! Come and join in the fun with Water Gun fights, Holli Colours, Candy Floss, Pinata, Soap Bubbles, Music, Food and drink. Not sure what some of these activities are? August 19-20: Circles are Fun!A weekend at the farm tailored towards families with younger children. There will be the opportunity as always to see the animals or choose a guided tour and select the lunch you would prefer. After lunch there will be activities for the kids focused on circles! Bubbles, Spinning tops, Hula Hoops and more will be some of the things used to create fun activities and enjoyment for the kids while parents get to relax and enjoy their day! August 26-27: Treasure HuntThis weekend has been designed by my kids to share an activity they really enjoy. They have created 4 different themed treasure hunts (English, Futuristic, Fantasy & Medieval), at the farm. Each hunt has 10 steps. After lunch in groups of up to 12 (groups bookings may be combined) you will be assigned 1 of the 4 hunts. As you complete the hunt and find the ultimate clue, you can move to the next hunt.
