Our Ducks & Geese
Our ducks and geese are not particularly rare, but we love them just the same! We currently have three different breeds of duck. Muscavoy, Peking & Mallard although we may expand that in the future. The ducks provide us with beautiful rich eggs that can be used for pasta or to make cakes, but we enjoy to eat them fried, boiled or poached.... we've even pickled them!
We also occasionally sell ducks to restaurants or use them ourselves. Including making duck breast prosciutto.... a simple yet delicious type of cured meat that you could also make at home!
Our Geese are also not really rare or special but super fun to watch! They love eating corn if you want to buy some from the dispenser! We have Toulouse geese, famous for their feathers that are used for duvets and pillows and also cygnet geese that are very pretty but still provide delicious large eggs.
