Escape the heat of the city and venture into the mountains this August for a day of connection with nature, enjoying good food and relaxation in good company and a lot of fun for you and your kids!
We have everything you need for a unique day in the mountains: DRINKS - MEAT (WITH RESERVATION) - BBQ - CHARCOAL - TABLES - SHADE - ANIMALS - CHARCUTERIE BOARDS - FRESH AIR - SPACE - SERENITY You don't need to bring anything! Our Ferragosto event is becoming more and more popular due to the unique fun we create, allowing adults to relax and enjoy the excellent food and drink on offer, and listen to music and breathe in the clean air of the mountains! |

What is there to do?On the day of the event you will be welcomed to enter the farm where you will be given your bag containing everything needed for the day... plates, glasses etc. You don't need to bring anything. Once inside you can find your allocated table and then can go to visit and feed the animals.
There will be food and drink, and activities organised for the children. Your table will be near a BBQ, if you have ordered meat to grill, and all tables will be shaded. There will be music playing all day to fit the mood and many activities announced throughout the day. This year we are doing three days, instead of one, to allow for more space and fun, and ensure we can host everyone that wants to come, while still having a manageable number of people at the farm. |
What Activities are there for kids?These event days are packed with fun activities! From play with soap Bubbles, through pinata and water gun fights, to our finale of Holi colour, there is never a dull moment!
Many parents bring a change of clothes for their kids, especially for the water fights, but experience shows most of the dads get involved too! The final activity of Holi colour is amazing... the colours wash out of clothes and hair without a problem... but you can expect to go home multicoloured! It's not to be missed! Pinata, another favourite at the farm, provides a lot of entertainment because we make them extra hard, so it takes a lot of effort to crack them open and all the kids can get a go! It's filled with candy, so also provides a sugary treat! There is also a playground where the kids can play and the animals to visit. The activities are all included in the entry price. Throughout the day there will be face painting and donkey/pony rides available, included in the entry price (see below). |

Food:
Barbecuing is core to the food experience for this event! BBQs are made available throughout the day and we will make sure they stay lit and tended to while people are still using them. Utensils, salt, oil are all provided, but you will need to order your meat online in advance. You can follow the link at the top or bottom of this page to do so. Please note, additional fresh meat will NOT be available on the day, so please make sure to book in advance. We will also have tagliere, cheese plates, vegetables to grill, sweet and cold options available, but there will not be other food vendors at this event. Drinks: We will, as always, have a range of drinks available, including natural wines, beer, water and fizzy drinks. We will have local artisan beer on tap, and hope also to have a new system to offer Guinness at all events! Coffee and liqueurs will be available throughout the day. For those of you who are driving, we also have alcohol free beer available! |
