This year we are launching a new event! May 1st is now known as Labour Day but as a holiday its origins are much much older! It was originally a festival to celebrate the arrival of spring and the rebirth of nature after the winter. The date and celebration was recognised by many nations from across Europe and further. We have decided to focus on the traditions from Ancient Rome (Floraria), Ancient Greece (Protomagia) and the Celtic nations (Beltine). So flowers will be central to our theme!
To create the atmosphere that we know you all enjoy at the farm, you are invited to come dressed up with ribbons and flowers. Contrasts of white and bright colours are the theme for the day. We will all be dressed up and look forward to welcoming you, and we promise a fun filled and enjoyable day for all the family! |

What is there to do?On the day of the event you will be welcomed to enter the farm. We invite you to come dressed in theme with white and bright colours.
Once inside the farm you can go to visit and feed all the animals. Our Spring Festival is all about the rebirth of nature after the winter, we hope that the trees will be in blossom, but there will also be stalls selling plants and flowers, so that you can buy some to take home to brighten your house or garden. There will be activities for kids throughout the day, including a craft table and dancing, and we will be playing music to suit the theme and atmosphere. There will be ample free seating and space to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. |

A Fattoria Valle Magica event would not be complete without kids activities and who better to host them than our favourite children's entertainer Maestra Puzzetta!
As always, Maestra Puzzetta will be bringing her unique ideas for fun and games, blowing enormous soap bubbles and making you all laugh. We will also have other team members hosting the craft table, where kids can make a flower crown each and decorate it with ribbons too. During this event Maestra Puzzetta will be leading some other activities at scheduled times during the day, which will include:
The activities are all included in the entry price. Throughout the day there will also be face painting and donkey/pony rides available (see bellow). |

At our events there is always the possibility to eat and drink and relax while your kids are entertained. Our spring festival will be no different. We are delighted to have Mo'Sci join us again for another event and provide ready cooked options for those who prefer not to BBQ.
Food: We will have arrosticini and sausages available to BBQ. There will also be our delicious salumi from our Nero D'Abruzzo pigs and cheese plates available. Mo'Sci among other options will be serving their famous sheep burgers and french fries. They will also have a delicious selection of cakes and buns! NOTE: FOOD DOES NOT NEED TO BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE FOR THIS EVENT
Drinks:
We will, as always, have a range of drinks available, including natural wines, beer, water and fizzy drinks. We will have local artisan beer on tap and starting this year we hope also to have a new system to offer Guinness at all events! Coffee and liqueurs will be available throughout the day. For those of you who are driving, we also have alcohol free beer available! |
