Pumpkin Patch is a name given to a festival featuring many pumpkins, but also can include many of the other aspects of an autumn festival and we always like to mix the new things we bring with local traditions, so expect to find local food and drink from the autumn season available, in addition to some new delicious treats. There will also be market stalls where some amazing craftsmen will be selling some beautiful creations!
In short, it's all about Pumpkins! It is NOT Halloween... it is a festival that is enjoyed as we approach Halloween, but is all about fun and happiness and the harvest season, it is not focused on spooky or scary. |
What is there to do?On the day of the event you will be welcomed to enter the farm where you can go to visit and feed the animals, and also enjoy the displays of Pumpkins all around the main farm area, including displays created by other farms, comunes, and businesses who are keen to grow the spirit of Pumpkin Patch in the local area for all to enjoy!
There is ample free seating where you can sit and relax while your children play around the farm, or in the playground. There will be orgainsed workshops and activities for kids (see below) and there will be various food and drinks available to buy and enjoy (see later). If you wish, you can also buy additional pumpkins to take home! |

In addition to having the freedom to visit and interact with all of our animals and use the playground, there will be organised workshops for the kids to paint or cut their pumpkins. These slots can be booked in advance and are free within your ticket price. Each slot is for 45 minutes. Your pumpkin is NOT included in the price and can be purchased on the day. Various sizes and prices will be available.
We will also have our favourite animator at the farm all day, having fun with the kids, with bubbles and many other types of activities. We will be offering donkey or pony rides. This will have an extra coist of €3.00 for children with free entry tickets, but one ride is included free* for kids who paid entry. In addition some of the market sellers will also have small items for sale that can be painted and coloured in addition to the workshops with the pumpkins... the items are for sale but the colouring and painting are free activities. We will also have face painting available. * limited to children under 150cm and/or 50kg |

We will be serving Tagliere, cheese plates, pizza, sausages and arrosticini (that you need to cook yourself on the BBQs, provided with salt, charcoal etc all supplied). There will also be popcorn, candyfloss and sweet options available.
