PlayTime is exactly what its called... a moment to play... to live... to breath... to remember a time when life was so simple, so easy... when fun was created with anything we had available!
During this event you will arrive to the farm, filled with fun... games and things to do in every possible area... Walk a slack line, play noughts and crosses, skipping, cornball, giant checkers, archery, a giant football or giant connect four... there will be more than you can imagine! In addition we will have organised activities like sack races, and egg and spoon races, old school group games and many you will have forgotten existed! Since we are going back in time to when playing was more innocent... why not take the music back too... the day will be supported by music from the 70s, 80s and 90s! Feel free to get the retro clothes out of the wardrobe too! Come Play! Relax and most of all... Enjoy! |

On the day of the event you will be welcomed to enter the farm where you can go to visit the animals and find a table to relax. The seating is not allocated but there will be plenty available for everyone.
Around the farm you will find areas allocated for lots of different games. These areas are marked and are free to use throughout the day. There is no booking and we ask that everyone shares to ensure other people get a chance to try all the different games and activities. There will also be face painting and donkey/pony rides available throughout the day, included in the entry price for children (see below). Our favourite entertainer will be hosting organised games and activities all day that will be announced in advance. Finally there will also be lots of board games available to borrow, from a central area, that you can play at your table. We will have the classics like chess, puzzles, risk and more. |

Our entertainer will be hosting a variety of activities, including PlayTime with bubbles and classic group games, that all the kids can get involved in.
She will also organise some fun races including:
Kids of all ages are welcome to participate, but we ask parents to be actively present for younger children. The various free to use games and activities around the farm will be available simultaneously with the organised games, so children will never be without something to do. We also hope that all the adults will lead by example, and show the kids how to play games, like giant jenga and jump ropes! How many of you can still play hop-scotch or use a hoola hoop? There will be no shortage of photo opportunities and we look forward to seeing them shared on social after the event! |

No event would be complete without food, drink and music which will be available throughout the day.
Food: We are excited to have Mo' Sci join us again at the farm for this event, serving various traditional abruzzese dishes, plus some more street food style options. We will have arrosticini and black pork sausages available to buy and cook by yourself, and also tagliere and cheese plates. There will be a selection of cakes and other sweet foods available too! NOTE: FOOD DOES NOT NEED TO BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE FOR THIS EVENT
Drinks:
We will, as always, have a range of drinks available including natural wines, beer, water and fizzy drinks. We will have local artisan beer on tap and hope also to have a new system to offer Guinness at all events! Coffee and liqueurs will be available throughout the day. For those of you who are driving, we also have some artisan alcohol free beer available! Music:
On our journey into the past, with games and activities we all enjoyed as children, we decided to take the music back in time too... The day will be accompanied by tunes from the 70's, 80's and 90's! Maybe we will see some outrageous 80's clothes being worn on the day! Whichever way, we will work hard to get you in the mood to 'boogey on down' and see if you can really embarrass your kids!! |

There is a €20 damage deposit payable for board games borrrowed to use during the event. This deposit is fully refundable on return of the game with all pieces intact and undamaged.
