South American food, drinks and music are becoming more and more popular. Even at our Halloween event we see the influence from 'Dia de los Muertos.'
It's not uncommon to meet people here in Abruzzo who are originally from Argentina or Venezuela and their influence is bringing many exciting new flavours, sounds and ideas. Our Festa Sud Americana will bring an amalgamation of some of the things people love most about south american cultures. Food, music, dance, colours... We have influences from many countries including, but not limited, to Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela and Argentina. The farm will be decorated with bright colours and we hope you will come dressed in bright colours too. Read on to find out more... |

What is there to do?Music will be the foundation of the day, with tunes playing to set the atmosphere.
The farm/animals will be available to visit throughout the day and there will be an activity table for the children to create and decorate various things in the theme of the day. While your kids are entertained you will be free to drink and eat and dance if the mood takes you! There will be ample free seating and space to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. |

In theme with the day, the entertainment for your kids will be focused around various latino activities.
We will have some group play activities, including playing with giant coloured parachute, and activities with music where adults can join in with the play too! The children will get tired, so we will of course have some quieter moments, with stories from South America for them to relax and enjoy listening to. To finish off the day the kids can enjoy breaking a giant pinata filled with candy! These activities described above are all included in the entry price. Throughout the day there will be face painting and donkey/pony rides available. See below of details. |

What about Food & Drink?South America offers a vast selection of delicious foods and amazing drinks... we will be serving only a few, but have chosen some classics that we believe can be enjoyed by all! There will be empanadas, Nachos with chilli-con-carne & cheese and later in the day there will be fresh Churros!
Food: We are excited to have Mo' Sci at the farm for this event, allowing us to offer cooked options. As always they will have their famous burgers and sweet potato fries, but in addition they will be serving tacos with chicken or beef! There will be vegetarian options available and of course we will have arrosticini available to cook on the grills provided, plus we will have tagliere, cheese plates and some tasty sweet options. Drinks: In addition to beer on tap, and local natural wine, we will have corona beer in bottles, sangria by the liter and tequilla shots! There will be a good selection of non alcoholic options available too, including coke, fanta, coffee and water. In addition we will have some fantastic alcohol free craft beers! Yes they exist and you can try them at the farm... dance, drink, sing, have an amazing time and drive home safely! |
