Farm VisitOur farm visit provides you and your group the opportunity to spend a day at the farm, meet the animals, to experience a truly memorable time being immersed in nature, free to relax, and inspired the simplicity of life and how good natural food direct from the farm can taste.
We offer fully inclusive visit packages or you can build your own experience at the farm. Our packages include a guided tour of the farm, food and drink, use of the facilities and a donkey/pony ride for the kids. You can find full details below. |

Tour of the FarmOur guided tour starts at 11:00 and 17:00 (summer time only) each day and lasts a little over an hour. It provides the opportunity to get up close with our ancient breed animals and feed most of them. You will also hear about their history, the products they help us make and why the products are better for you to eat and for the environment. Our animals include Donkeys, Sheep, Goats, Pigs, Rabbits, Ducks, Chickens, Pigeons, Turkeys and more.
If you prefer to do the tour alone as part of a tailored pakage you make yourself, each area has a QR code that links to hidden pages on our website where you can read about the rare breeds and the products we make, how we care for and manage the animals. We are also including videos that will allow you to see things that may happen at different times of the year or that you cannot experience first hand (like the inside of a beehive!). Anyone attending the guided tour can also do a self guided tour in addition at no extra charge. During the guided tour there is greater opportunity to hold and touch the various animals and to enter into their enclosures. |
Activities for kidsA day at the farm is an activity in itself for children, the interaction with the animals, the space to run and play, with everything to discover is the essence of why people bring their kids. We rarely see children on their phones or seeking parents to create stimulus for them. Instead they are to be found taking bran plates to feed the donkeys, grass to the rabbits, leaves to the goats and spare bits of bread to the geese.
In addition there is a playground at their disposal, where they can play in the sand or the climbing frame and slide to burn off some extra energy. Finally at 15:00 each day there is a free donkey or pony ride for all kids that have paid the entry fee (included in the packages also) |

Food & DrinkIf you chose to add food to your tailored package or buy one of our standard ones, then on completion of the tour you will arrive at our BBQ area. You will have a table reserved and your pre-ordered food it will be ready for you. Tagliere or antipasto and drinks will be served to your table and the fresh meat for the BBQ can be collected from the service point.
All people with a food order are provided with our 'Table Set' which includes, plates, cutlery, cooking utensils, salt oil etc, these sets can be added to custom orders for anyone sharing food ordered by another. If you have pre-booked arrosticini or mixed grill, there will BBQs ready to use. Your table will be shaded, and there is ample space for you to bring push chairs alongside the table. We do not provide highchairs. There are also always drinks available including coffee, wines, beer, non-alcoholic and soft drinks. |

Tagliere 'Valle Magica' |
An abundant selection of our cured meats with cheese, nuts, pickles and preserves, Dependant on the season there may also be fresh fruit or vegetables from the farm. The salumi is from our Black Abruzzese Pigs, reared ethically outdoors on a natural and foraged diet and created without the use of preservatives or additives. It includes proscuitto aged 30 months. The cheeses and pickles are either local or farm produced depending on availability. Minimum 2 people. |
