As winter approaches, Fattoria Valle Magica transforms into a world of soft candlelight and Christmas sparkle. Lanterns glow in small hands, fairy lights shimmer along the paths, and the animals quietly watch as families explore the farm in the calm of dusk.

✨ How the Lantern Walk Works

The Lantern Walk is a gentle winter adventure — full of warmth, wonder, and small moments your children will remember.

​A cosy evening of lights, stories, nature, treats… and a sweet visit to Santa to end the night.

From 14:00 to 19:30, the farm becomes a softly illuminated winter trail.  Your family (or group of friends), begins the walk in small groups, with lanterns lighting your way.

You will pass along gentle paths lined with twinkling lights and decorated scenes.

You move at your own pace — stopping to watch the animals settling for the evening, meeting some characters along the route, an elf, a gnome and maybe more...

The trail is calm, atmospheric, full of Christmas magic and designed for all ages to feel safe and enchanted.

The walk usually lasts 45–60 minutes, depending on how long you choose to linger along the way.

​Arrive anytime from 13:45 onward — there’s no rush.
Once you're inside the farm, you’re welcome to stay until closing, at 19:30.

​🎅 Meet Santa — Included for All Children

When your lantern walk ends, your group is welcomed into Santa’s warm winter room — softly decorated with trees, lights and gentle Christmas touches.

This is a calm, cosy encounter:
Santa greets the children warmly, takes a moment with each one, and offers a small candy treat.

There’s no rush, no overwhelming crowd, just a peaceful Christmas moment your child can enjoy fully.
This Santa visit is included with every child ticket — including under-2s who have a child ticket.

🎨 Craft Area – Included

After the lantern walk — or before it, if your family arrives early — children are invited to stop at our cosy craft table.

Here they can create their own natural Christmas tree ornament, using pinecones, twine, wool, cardboard and simple rustic materials.
It’s calm, hands-on, and wonderfully tactile.

Children love choosing their decorations and making something they can proudly take home — a little reminder of the evening, hung on the family tree.

The craft activity runs all afternoon, from 14:30 to 19:30,
​and is included in the ticket price.

​🍎 Food & Warm Drinks

After your walk, a warm drink is waiting for you — 
mulled apple juice for children, or mulled wine for adults — included in the entry price.
The smell of spices, warm fruit and toasted aromas fills the air, making it the perfect treat as you return from the lantern-lit trail.

Our festive food corner is open all afternoon with comforting winter favourites available to buy, including:

• Stuffed Turkey Christmas Sandwich with festive seasoning and cranberry
• Roasted chestnuts
• Hot chocolate crowned with cream and sprinkles
• Waffles with cream and chocolate
• Hotdogs for the kids!

Everything is warm, cosy and perfect for relaxing together after your winter walk.

• Light rain or snow — the event continues.
• We have covered areas and seating where families can rest or shelter.
• In case of very heavy rain or unsafe conditions, the event may be adapted or rescheduled.

👢 What to bring:

• Warm clothes · Comfortable shoes ·
• Welly boots if it has been raining in the days before ·
• Gloves, hats and scarves for the little ones.

🎨 Craft area:

• Open all afternoon from 14:00 to 19:30.
• Children can make natural Christmas ornaments to take home (included in the ticket).

🎅 Santa:​

• Santa visits are scheduled automatically after your Lantern Walk and are included for children with a child ticket.
• Each child receives a small candy treat.

🍎 Food & drinks:

• One glass of mulled wine or mulled apple juice included in every paid ticket.
• Warm festive food, snacks and extra drinks are available to purchase on the day (not  included in the ticket price).

👶Children 0-2 years old:

• Very young children are welcome and enter for free.
• They are welcome to visit Santa at the time of the accompanying adults' booking.
• They may enjoy the craft area and the lantern walk.
• An individual lantern and the free drink are not included. 

🛒 Booking:

• All Lantern Walks and Santa times are fixed, and must be booked in advance.
• If your preferred slot is full, please choose another available time.
